Special Projects Fund Branch Projects
AAUW’s mission-based community projects provided by AAUW of Oregon branches include, but are not limited to, scholarships to college and university students, tuition and travel to AAUW’s annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL), and branch sponsored week-long STEM camps for junior high/middle school girls.
There are nine branches currently offering thirteen projects for women and girls across Oregon:
- Tech Trek - 1
- NCCWSL - 4
- Scholarships - 8
- Branch Contact Responsibilities
Each branch’s project has its own account within the (SPF). When a new project application is submitted, a Branch Contact is designated along with their current contact information. Each projects account is coordinated within the branch by the designated Branch Contact who interacts with the SPF Finance Officer about all issues related to that account. The Branch Contact is the only branch member who can obtain information regarding the project account from the SPF Finance Officer.
